This body of work is action and an active gestural style with an expansive color field showing a reflection of mood or moment in time. This body of work was also influenced by certain music. The use of patterns, structures, textures, colour, chance technique, interacting with the materials and having the materials react to her. Her art work is to convey a way into the psyche of the mind and lead the viewer to the story and another world. To a world which purifies and regenerates the mind and soul. The stories are a reflection into the memory and the subconscious of the mind. The release of emotional darkness to free oneself and the letting go of harbored emotions. As if it is the phoenix rising up from the flames. Leading the viewer to the inner awareness of the inner world of the artist and to the light at the end of the tunnel. The light in which we all desire to have and continue to shine into our lives.
